This saga introduces us to Goku, a young boy with incredible strength and a monkey tail. He meets Bulma, a teenage girl on a quest to find the seven Dragon Balls, which can grant any wish. Together, they embark on a journey to find the balls, while also battling against the evil Emperor Pilaf and his minions.
